Tatabra Pincua crowned Champion of the Argentine Young Horse Championship & La Tatabra's tenth annual auction set for 2009
TATABRA PINCUA CROWNED NATIONAL CHAMPION OF THE ARGENTINE YOUNG HORSE CHAMPIONSHIP
Tatabra Pincua, a beautiful mare by Concord and Tatabra Pomone (x Tatabra Legitimo) was crowned Champion of the National Young Horse Championship in mid December.
The Young Horse Championship is a series of 11 jumping events that take place throughout the year and is specifically designed for 4 year-old horses (Series I) entering competitions. The horses must participate in no less than 8 events and the top horses classify for a final event that takes place in December. Those horses that manage to classify for the final runoff, participate in a two-day final event. The championship is organized by FEA (Argentine Equestrian Federation) and the AAFE (Breeders Association) and over 120 horses participated in 2008.
Tatabra Pincua, ridden by Fernando Marques, managed to classify for the finals after having participated in 8 events with no faults. The final event was a 1.15m double course, plus a third course with a jump off, which Tatabra Pincua managed to clear with no faults.
