 A new star arrives at the Stud!

La Tatabra is pleased to announce the addition of a new stallion at the stud.  “Quitender” arrived this winter from Germany, after a successful Hannoveraner Verband Licensing showing where he was named Reserve Champion Jumping Stallion amongst more than 110 finalists.

 

Quitender’s sire is Quidam's Rubin (Quidam de Revel / Landgraf / Caletto), and his dam is Colette (Contender / Argentinus / Salut). Quidam de Revel, Contender and Argentinus figure amongst the top 10 stallions of the world accoridng to the WBFSH in 2007.

 

The 3 year old Hannoverian has started training with the ride of Fabian Sejanes and is looking forward to competing in the "Young Horse Championship" in the 2009 season. 

 

Quitender has also been incorporated into the breeding program and we look forward to showing you his offspring in early 2009. 

 

 

 

FIRST TIME MOTHER FOR A MILANO DE FLORE BROODMARE!

As spring arrived and started to warm up the pastures, we welcomed the foaling season excited about a first-time broodmare by Milano de Flore. 

 

“Tatabra Quimera” a beautiful 4 year-old mare, gave birth to a promising filly by Concord (x Voltaire).  This is the first daughter of young Milano de Flore to ever bare a foal.

 

 

 

MILANO DE FLORE DEBUTS IN GRAND PRIX WITH STYLE!

As Milano de Flore celebrated his 8th birthday, he debuted in a Grand Prix at the Mastercard Gran Prix on October 5th at the Club Hipico Buenos Aires. 

Piloted by 2007 National Champion Ricardo Dircie, Milano cruised through the initial round with style and was one of the few horses that advanced to the jump-off and final round of what was a difficult and challenging course.

In thejump-off, Milano performed flawlessly and cleared all obstacles, classifying in third place after finsihing two seconds behind the winner.
