Milano de Flore shines at the Republica Argentina Grand Prix
Milano de Flore - Runner-Up at the prestigious Republica Argentina Grand Prix
Milano de Flore secured an impressive runner-up finish at the ‘Republica Argentina’ Grand Prix which took place the last weekend of November.
The prestigious event held at the Club Hipico Argentino, was relocated from the outdoor grass field to the indoor arena due to heavy rainfall over the weekend. The relocation to the indoor arena, coupled with a challenging course, made for a difficult first round that only saw 6 horses manage to clear with no faults – including Milano de Flore. The runoff was limited to the top 10 horses, and Milano de Flore was one of only two horses who again cleared the round with no faults for an impressive and well deserved second place finish.
Milano de Flore’s debut in the top category of show jumping this year has been very successful, including an impressive streak of consecutive Top-10 finishes at major events earlier in the year. During November, Milano de Flore also competed at the El Capricho showjumping events and secured top-10 finishes in all three events in which he participated (including the International Grand Prix).

Tatabra Prometeo comes in 3rd at the Breeder Cup Finals!
Last month we shared the outstanding performance by Tatabra Prometeo (x Dimitil de Terlong) at the Breeder’s Cup – including a crowning as champion of the Breeder’s Cup Combinantion Cup – an award that rewards the best horse competing in both show jumping and dressage.
In November, the show jumping finals for the Breeder’s Cup took place and Tatabra Prometeo with the terrific ride of Ileana Rodriguez Rossi proved that last month’s results were not random but a testament of their quality.
Tatabra Prometeo came in 3rd in the Show Jumping finals, managing to clear both courses and only suffer a 1-point time penalty on the second course. We wish to highlight that Ileana Rodriguez Rossi rode Tatabra Prometeo superbly, in a beautifully paced cadence not usual in young horses performing in a challenging course in a major event.
