News from the United States:
TRADING PLACES (TATABRA KRIMI)
“Trading Places” (formerly Tatabra Krimi), a 10-year old gelding owned by Kyle Register and with the ride of Daniel Geitner of DFG Stables, conquered 4 major Grand Prix’s in the United States in 2008. The 4 Grand Prix victories included the $25,000 Ameriprise Financial Holloween Grand Prix, the $25,000 Central Equine Grand Prix, the $25,000 Spring Atlanta Grand Prix and the $15,000 EMO Grand Prix at the 80th Annual Tryon Riding & Hunt Horse Show.
Reports for the first quarter of 2009 seem to be just as good, and results for March included a first place finish at the $10,000 South Carolina March Madness II Mini Prix, and a second place finish at the Atlanta Spring Classic I.
This month, Daniel Geitner and Trading Places conquered the $25,000 Aiken Spring Classic Grand Prix after a brilliant performance at the jump off where they avoided faults and lowered the time to 31.707.
Daniel says of Trading Places “He's got a great mind. Biggest thing with him is that he doesn't know what he can't do! He's always willing to try … He's just the sweetest and easiest horse you could hope for.… He’s just a Super Horse…”
