La Tatabra shines at National Show & first offspring of Quitender is born
LA TATABRA SHINES AT THE NATIONAL SHOW
La Tatabra was present at the 2009 edition of “Nuestros Caballos” horse show – the biggest horse show in Latin America. For this year’s show, we selected two products - both horses showed very well and added accolades to the stud’s rich history:
Tatabra Rochester (x Alligator Fontaine / born October 2005)

Judged by internationally experienced Germain Levallois -owner of Haras des Couvains (France), breeders of the famous “De Semilly” horses which have included such horses as Diamant, Kalaska and others – and his son Eric, a member of the French National Show jumping Team.
Tatabra Toffee was awarded Champion philly and Second Best Yearling in the show. She is beautiful philly by Milano de Flore.
Tatabra Rochester was awarded Young Stallion Champion and Reserve Grand Champion of the show. Tatabra Rochester is a son of Bernard Le Courtois’ famous Alligator Fontaine and a Qualoubet III dam. He is part of the line-up of our 10th Auction to be held on May 16th this year – you can see Tatabra Rochester by clicking HERE and selecting Lote 2.

He joins Tatabra Romance – Grand Champion Mare at the show’s 2008 edition - (click HERE and select Lote 9) as the two award winning horses that will be at the auction.

QUITENDER’S FIRST OFFSPRING!
Quitender – the new stallion that arrived at the stud from Germany in mid 2008, after a successful Hannoveraner Verband Lecensing showing where it was recognized as the Reserve Champion Jumping Stallion among more than 110 finalists – has seen the birth of its’ first offspring with the arrival of Tatabra Volare, a beautiful philly that was born on February this year.
Tatabra Volare’s dam is Tatabra Mistica (mare of Tatabra Riviera - Lote 17 - at our upcoming auction / click HERE). Quitender’s sire is Quidam de Revel, and his bloodlines include Landgraf I and Contender (Calypso II / Cor de la Bryere & Argentinus). Quidam de Revel, Contender and Argentinus figure amongst the top 10 stallions of the World according to the WBFSH in 2007.

The 3 year old Hannoverian stallion has started training with the ride of Fabian Sejanes and is looking forward to competing during the 2009 season.
